With an $800 donation to TrueNorth Wellness Services’ Amazing Kids Club, Hanover Little Theatre’s non-profit donation program has passed the $10,000 mark in less than five years.
Instituted in November 2014 with the production of Sylvia, the program directs a portion of the proceeds from each production to a local non-profit organization or community event. This program has now benefited 18 different groups.

This marks the third-largest single donation since the program began in November 2014 and pushed the all-time donation total to $10,550.
“We are thrilled to reach such a special milestone in this program.” Shea said. “We know that we all make Hanover better when we work together and appreciate the support of everyone who has helped make these donations possible.”
The donation comes from HLT’s spring 2019 production of The Mousetrap. The theatre donated $2 per ticket to the Saturday, March 30 show to the Amazing Kids Club. An anonymous patron and Sommer & O’Donnell – Attorneys at Law matched the donation. Audience members also added to the donation for the final total.
The non-profit partner for the upcoming production of Church Basement Ladies will be New Hope Ministries.
