In the 2018-19 season, Hanover Little Theatre will celebrate ladies – The Church Basement Ladies!
The popular musical comedy will come to Hanover in July 2019 as the final show in HLT’s 70th season. The season will also feature a pair of comedies and a classic Agatha Christie mystery.
Information about memberships and season tickets will be available July 1. Members and season ticket holders can guarantee their seats in advance of ticket sales to the general public.
The season will open in September with the Sam Bobrick comedy Getting Sara Married. Sara Hastings, a busy, young lawyer struggles to keep up with work and with her aunt’s attempts to find her a husband. The show will run September 14-16, 20-23.
In November, the Holloway brothers try to keep the family business alive in Joe Simonelli’s Heaven Help Me. Their efforts to sell the family beach house meet with supernatural resistance in this comedy scheduled for November 9-11, 15-18.
HLT will present The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie for the third time in April 2019. The mystery has run continuously on London’s West End since 1952 and previously appeared in Hanover in 1968 and 1988. Show dates will be March 29-31, April 4-7, 2019.
The Church Basement Ladies will bring their own special brand of hunmr and love as four women organize the food and solve the problems of a rural Minnesota church. The show has toured extensively and has produced five sequels. Hanover performances will be July 12-14, 18-21.
