For almost 25 years, Golden Vision Adult Day Services has provided community-based services for seniors in the Hanover area. Hanover Little Theatre will raise money for this important organization during the production of The Old People Are Revolting, which has shows September 9-11 and 15-18.
Tickets are on sale for The Old People Are Revolting. Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. on September 9-10 and 15-17 as well as 2 p.m. matinees on September 11 and 18. Tickets are $15 with discounts available for students, seniors and groups. Season-long memberships are also available as HLT begins its 68th season.
This marks the eighth show where the theatre will raise funds for a local non-profit community partner. The theatre will donate $2 for every ticket sold to the Saturday, September 10 show to Golden Visions. An anonymous patron will match that donation, generating $4 for every person attending that performance. Additionally, donations for Golden Visions will be accepted at all seven performances of The Old People Are Revolting. Since inaugurating this program in November 2014, Hanover Little Theatre has donated $3,400 to a variety of local organizations.
Golden Visions provides a continuum of personal options for safety, security, and support for its clients in the least restrictive environment that assures dignity, independence, self-determination and the highest quality of life.
The box office, located at 360 Blooming Grove Road, will be open for ticket sales on August 27 and September 3 from 10 a.m. to noon and August 28 and September 4 from noon to 2 p.m.
