Director Jeremy Slagle has announced the cast for Hanover Little Theatre’s upcoming production of Five Women Wearing the Same Dress by Alan Ball. The show will run April 10-12 and 16-19. We had a fantastic turnout at auditions and look forward to sharing this wonderful cast with our patrons.

The play was the debut work for Ball, later known for American Beauty, Six Feet Under and True Blood). Set at an ostentatious wedding reception at a Knoxville, Tenn., estate, the show features five reluctant, identically clad bridesmaids hiding out in an upstairs bedroom. Each has her own reason to avoid the proceedings below and, as the afternoon wears on, these five very different women joyously discover a common bond in this wickedly funny, irreverent and touching celebration of the women’s spirit.
