Hanover Little Theatre will once again host a murder-mystery dinner theatre at the Hanover Elks. Tickets are now on sale for the Saturday, Feb. 7 production of “Murder at the Tonylou Awards,” written by Tony Schwartz & Marylou Ambrose.
Tickets are $30 per person. Reserve your seat online or by calling 717-637-5297. All seating is first come, first served.
The event takes place in the Elks Banquet Room (47 North Forney Avenue) beginning at 6 p.m. The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Dinner will follow the opening act of the show with a menu of chicken, roast beef, green beans, whipped potatoes, roll and butter and cherry cobbler. The show will conclude after dinner with dessert and coffee to follow.
In the show, you’ll see that there’s no telling what an actor might do to win a coveted Tonylou! Watch some of the biggest names in the industry, including Celia B. DeMilo, CEO of PMS Studios, searching for her next big star; Monty Carlo, Latin superstar trying to break into the American market; Tony Hardcastle, your host for the evening; and the unforgettable (and always inebriated) Lorna Lush, has-been actress and a fixture at every awards show.
But all is not as it seems. Behind the scenes, there’s plenty of jealousy, greed, and good old fashioned backstabbing going on. Will Lorna finally get an award? Will Celia find her next big star? Will the truth surrounding the mysterious deaths of Tony and Marylou Hardcastle, Sr. finally be revealed? Was it an accident … or murder!
The cast will feature HLT regulars Erin DiNello, Anna Heckert, Heidi Hormel, Courtney McDougall, Nicole Merkel, Bonnie Raubenstine, Brian Shea, Jeremy Slagle, Skip Tananis and Chad Zepp.
