Director Jim Watson has announced the cast for the upcoming production of “Over the River and Through the Woods.”
In this dram-edy, a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey sees his grandparents every Sunday until he lands his dream job that will take him to Seattle. Thus begins a series of schemes to keep their grandchild on the East Coast, including some not-so-subtle matchmaking.
Beau Bowden will make his HLT debut as Nick Cristano. Don Aumen and Phyllis Reinsfelder will play Frank and Aida Gianelli. Don returns to the HLT stage for the first time since 2010’s “Mack and Mabel.” Phyllis returns after last year’s “Sex, Please, We’re Sixty.” HLT veteran Jeff Baker will play Nunzio Cristano alongside Ann Watson, last seen in 2012’s “Nunsense,” as Emma Cristano. Anna Heckert will play Caitlin O’Hare. She portrayed Lucy in July’s production of “Snoopy! The Musical.”
The show will run November 14-16 and 21-23 at 8 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee set for Nov. 17. Season memberships are still available. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 14.
