Steel Magnolias is a classic story that centers around six women from the small town of Chinquapin, Louisiana. We visit the beauty shop of Truvy Jones while the preparations for Shelby Eatenton’s wedding are underway. As the neighborhood women stop in to have their hair done and catch up on local happenings, we gain insight to the struggles, joys, and enduring friendships that have sustained them through many celebrations and trials.
