Mack and Mabel

Posted on March 18, 2010August 13, 2024 by brian_shea

The love story of “Keystone” comedy director Mack Sennett and the screen’s first comedienne Mabel Normand, promises blundering cops, pie fights, pratfalls, a tender love story and lovely bathing beauties who will tap your troubles away.

Broadway musical legend Jerry Herman, of Hello Dolly and Mame fame, dishes up a rousing selection of toe-tapping tunes such as Big Time, Look What Happened to Mabel, I Wanna Make the World Laugh, and When Mabel Walks Into the Room, to name a few.

Director Mark Franceschini, assisted by Jeb Beard, guarantee a happy ending while presenting veteran performers: N. Kay Lenhart, Ken Berry, Deb Carson, Mike Baker, Don Aumen, Skip Tananis, Barb Rode, and joined by Chris Hollowell, Greg Lauchman, Charlotte Morse, Joe Orndorf, and Sean Craig.

The show ran March 18–22, 25–27, 2010.
